The Lumberjack junior high squads traveled to Huntington and it was an offensive showdown with both teams putting tremendous points. In the 7th grade game, you might have thought it was a basketball game with the Lumberjacks pulling off a game winning touchdown pass to Alex Grimaldo with 35 seconds remaining. The Jacks final score was 54-52 with great performances from Tony Hernandez, Carlos Teal, Jacob Stifle, and Jarvis Shephard.
In the 8th grade game, the Red Devils played the Jacks hard and tough keeping the score close, until the Jacks finally pulled away in the fourth quarter making the final score 62-38. With the win, the
Jacks had great performances from Eli Hernandez and Terrance Taylor with four touchdowns each, helping in the lopsided win.
