T. L. L. Temple Memorial Library

Thanksgiving is not just a time to eat turkey and dressing but a time to stop and count our many blessings. To be thankful for all the wonderful people in our lives. We here at T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library are very thankful for our wonderful patrons who make this a great place to work. Thank you for your patronage through out this year and the kindnesses that many of you have shown. We are especially thankful to all those who support us through donations and volunteerism without which we could not run this library. Thank you all for your patience as we go into the actual physical part of our renovation project.

It's not too late to be a "Book Angel". Act now before the time runs out. December 5th will come sooner than you think. It's a really simple thing to do. Just bring a new book, or gently used book, or cash donation to the library and fill out an angel form by December 5, 2007. These books will be distributed to organizations that aid children during the holiday season. This is a good opportunity to teach your children about being thankful and to instill the spirit of giving in them at the same time. Won't you be a "Book Angel" today?

The December care packages for our soldiers in Iraq must be packaged by November 28 in order to arrive in time for the holidays. Cooler weather will allow them to have chocolate and homemade treats at this time. If you would like to contribute to this effort please have your donations to the library by November 26. Volunteers are also needed to help box the items. For more information please call 829-5497.

Regular programs: Beginning September 5, 2007 Tot-Time, a story time for ages 3-5 on Wednesdays, 11:00-11:30.

Library Closing: The library will be closed on November 22-24, 2007 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Fall Schedule: Monday 9:00-7:00, Tuesday - Friday 9:00-5:30, and Saturday 10:00-2:00.

Have a great week!
