Box office opens for "The Piano Men"

Jim Witter, as The Piano Man, will entertain at the Angelina Arts Alliance January 19. Tickets are $18 to 35 each.

The Angelina Arts Alliance is delighted to introduce East Texas to The Piano Men…Starring Jim Witter, live on the Temple Theater stage on the Angelina College campus one night only.

The show is Saturday, January 19 at 7:30 pm.

Tickets prices are $18-$25, and go on sale Monday, December 17th at the Temple Theater box office (936-633-5454). Box office hours are weekdays noon to 5:30 pm. Show sponsor is Goodwin- Lasiter, Inc./Scott & Strong, Architects. Season sponsors are First Bank & Trust/East Texas and Temple-Inland.

The Piano Men is a musical celebration of the 1970s- year by year, hit by hit- from the songs of beloved songsmiths, Billy Joel and Elton John. Recording artist Jim Witter and his band lead an expertly crafted multi-media tour of an entire decade.With Witter on the grand piano, and his musicians on keyboards, guitar, bass, flute, sax, and drums, his phenomenal singing ability does not "mimic" Billy Joel or Elton John's songs, but powerfully and emotionally evokes these landmarks in a pop culture timeline.
