Juanita G. Garcia

Juanita G. Garcia, 78, of Lufkin, was born June 28, 1 929 in San Benito, Texas, the daughter of the late Guadalupe (Garcia) and Jose Guadiana. She passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Garcia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, as well as a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters, Lydia Medina, Mary Jane Constante, Irma Sarmiento and husband, Rogaciano, all of Lufkin; sons, Flumencio Constante, Jr. and wife, Belinda of Lufkin and Jose Luis Constante and wife Charlene of Harlingen; dear friend, Homer William Cutler, Jr.; numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Gregorio Guadiana of Nacogdoches; sisters, Sara Medina, Elena Guadiana, both of Raymondville, Julianna Pierce of California and Rizalda Vasquez of Houston; and a number of other family members and friends. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, Flumencio Constante, Sr.; and sons, Alfredo Acosta, Jr. and Guadalupe "Wally Acosta, Sr. Pallbearers will be Donnie Medina, Guadalupe 'Wally" Acosta, Jr.; Frank Hernandez, Jr., Jorge Castellanos, Flumencio "Rocky" Constante III and Derek Constante.

Services for Mrs. Garcia were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
