Emma Taylor Emma Taylor, 67, was born September 1, 1940, in Chireno, Texas, the daughter of the late Oleta (Long) and James Robert Rash. She passed away Friday, December 7, 2007, at her residence. Ms. Taylor was the owner/operator of Emma's Drop Off Service, and was the previous owner/ operator of Westside Laundry and J & E Laundry. Ms. Taylor was devoted to her family, customers and friends. She was always very devoted to her work. Ms. Taylor was a member of Dunn Chapel Church of Christ. She was a resident of Lufkin for more than 50 years. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Donna Taylor of Centralia; granddaughter and her husband, Ashley and Hector Rodriguez 12 of Pollok; grandson, Michael Taylor of Centralia; great-grandchild, Cohen Rodriguez; sisters, Ora Mae Beard and Medallion Poteet; brothers, Dewey Rash arid Andrew Rash; special friend, Ann Yeager; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members. Pallbearers will be Jerry Stafford, Jerry Smith, Donald Austin, George Scogin, Andrew David Rickett, Sammy Furlow, Michael Taylor and Hector Rodriguez. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Ms. Taylor's memory to Hospice in the Pines, 11 6 S. Raguet, Lufkin, Texas 75904. Services for Ms. Taylor were at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2007, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Bob Owens and Robert Fenley officiating. Interment followed in the Johnson Tullos Cemetery in Centralia. |
