Mary Bell Pearson Loving Mary Bell Pearson Loving, 87, of Lufkin, was born January 1 7, 1920, in Nacogdoches County, Texas, the daughter of the late Lida(Montes) and Lee Cortines. She passed away on Thursday, December 1 3, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. Loving was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She had previously worked in the Laundry Department at the Lufkin State School. Mrs. Loving loved gardening and cooking. She like to shop. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church,and had resided in Lufkin since 1938. Survivors include her grandchildren and their spouses, Clark and Bridgette Pearson of Lufkin, Scott and Sherry Pearson, John Thomas, Jr., and April Pearson, all Dallas, Mark Pearson of Lufkin; daughter-inlaw, Dottye Pearson of Lufkin; great grandchildren, Rachelle Pearson, Brittany Pearson, Kimberly Pearson, Elizabeth Pearson, all of Lufkin, Triston Pearson of Dallas, Lindsay Pearson of Splendora, Riley Pearson of Dallas, Tyler Pearson of Lufkin; Nicky of Huntington, and Leah; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives Preceding Mrs. Loving in death were her husband, Leroy Pearson and Van Loving; her sons, John Thomas Pearson, Sr., and Joe Allen Pearson; and sisters, Aliene Inman and Fannie Tullos. Pallbearers will be Scott Pearson, John Thomas Pearson, Jr., Mark Pearson, Cullen Due, Donald Nugent and Levi Horton. Services for Mrs. Loving wilt be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2007, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with. Reverend William J. Slight, M.S., officiating, interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at Gipson Funeral Home. |
