College search program set

Diboll High School has scheduled the "Making Your College Search Count" presentation junior and senior classes.

The one-hour presentation will be delivered free to students and parents of the senior class at 10:15 a.m. and students and parents of the junior class at noon on January 11.

Making Your College Search Count provides students with information on how to conduct an effective college search and selection. It is designed to help students begin thinking about which colleges would be right for them and what they need to do to apply.

Making It Count, a subsidiary of Monster, also provides presentations for freshmen and sophomoress.

Guidance counselors on average rated the value of the ideas presented a 9.5 on a 10-point scale.
