Seventh grade white team wins Huntington tourney

The 7th Grade White team traveled to Huntington on Saturday, December 8, to compete in the Huntington B Team Tournament. The girls won both games to bring home a first place trophy.

In the first game against Pineywoods Academy, Diboll won 16-9. Jasmine Hernandez scored 10 points, Alexis Gordon 3, Claudia Perez 2 and Tanika Bray chipped in with a free throw.

Diboll won the second game by beating Huntington 22-8. Jasmine Hernandez led the team again in scoring with 8 points. Hannah Shepherd, Alexis Gordon, and Tankia Bray all added 4 points. Tarryn Oliver rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

The teams will be back in action on Thursday, January 3. Games will be played here against Crockett.
