Jubilee Church report

Jesus made a difference in the lives of all the people he helped. When he made a difference in the people's lives, then that made a difference in the community they lived in. Jubilee Baptist church seeks to do the same. Christ has made a difference in our lives and we seek to make a difference in the community we serve.

One of the weekly ministries of our church is a ministry of helps at the Diboll Christian Outreach center each Thursday. This past Thursday that ministry made a difference in the lives of 134 families in our community. Jubilee Baptist church is thankful for the opportunity to work with several other churches and many individual volunteers in this ministry of helps to our community.

A ministry of helps requires no special talent, no high education, and no position of influence. You can be a helper too. All that is required is a desire to help those that are less fortunate. That help may take the form of carrying a box of groceries for some young single parent who has a child on her hip and another by the hand. A helper is one that will stop the work just long enough to visit with someone who is of great age and needs a smile or a little attention. We are thankful for the privilege being one small building block in this community ministry of helps.

Jubilee Baptist Church is located on FM 1818 right at the city limit sign. We are a country church with a heart for ministry. If you do not have a church home Jubilee will welcome you to our worship services. If you have some trouble of life that is so big only God can help you with it, we invite you to Jubilee & we will ask the Father in Heaven to give you an answer.
