Jacks down Newton

Diboll's Lumberjacks - again - shot a poorer percentage from the field than their opponent. But becasuse they - again - had so many more shot opportunities, they pulled out a win.

The Jacks beat Newton 78-71 last Tuesday night.

Diboll shot 49 percent from the field compared to Newton's 56, but Diboll put up 25 percent more shots than Newton.

The Jacks also proved themselves at the free throw line, hitting almost 58 percent of their shots from the charity stripe compared to Newton's 39 percent. Diboll Lumberjacks 78, Newton Bulldogs 71
