Hadnot excited about giving back to Angelina community
      For Angelina County Native and former Lufkin Panther standout football star Rex Hadnot there have been some major changes in the last year. Leaving the Miami Dolphins, where he has played his entire NFLcareer, to join the Cleveland Browns is just the first of these changes.

     The Diboll Lumberjack Baseball squad got together last week for a big spread of food and to celebrate their accomplishments on the baseball field this season. Lady Jacks named to 20 3-A All District squad
      For those of you not aware there is a brand new Texas State Champion in District 20 3-A, courtesy of the Huntington Devilettes. That accomplishment came just this past weekend when they defeated the Liberty-Eylau Lady Leopards in Austin, TX by a final of 1-0.

The upside down can and the quick cane
      Many of the highlights of every kid's life are the many holidays that America offers us. The importance of some of the holidays may change from one generation to another, but the old standbys will always be with us in all their glory. The two most important ones are probably Christmas and Thanksgiving. Those two we try to do something FOR someone.

Iron Jack Program returns for second season
      Another school year has come to a close and for most Diboll students it is time for some summer fun in the sun, or perhaps that summer job, however for those young men and women competing in the Diboll Lumberjack Athletics program it is business as usual.
