Nursing assistants and patient care techs are often referred to as the "eyes and ears" of the nurses. They take care of some of the most basic needs of patients during a hospital stay. Memorial Health System of East Texas observed National Nursing Assistants Week June 12-19 and Memorial took the time to recognize those 112 men and women who provide such a vital service to the patients.
