      Graveside services for John Edward McLain, 56, of Lufkin, were held June 24, 2008, in the Chinquapin Cemetery in San Augustine, with Reverend Ted Tedford officiating. Mr. McLain was a painter for Ace Painting. Survivors include his sisters, Theadora Masters of Lufkin and Sharon Mason of Weatherford; brothers, Robert McLain of Spring and Douglas McLain, Jr.

Ervin McCaa
      Services for Mr. McCaa were held June 23, 2008, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Horace Fletcher and Reverend Grant Hanes officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Ervin McCaa, 85, of Lufkin, was born October 17, 1922, in Alto, Texas, the son of the late Lucile (Bryant) and lssac Newton McCaa.

      Graveside services for Clennon Hubert Moncrief, 50, of Lufkin were held June 21, 2008 in the Sims (Rocky Hill) Cemetery with Kayla Brown delivering the eulogy. He was born Dec. 29, 1957, in Beaumont to Iris Marie (Carroll) and Clennon Edward Moncrief, and died Wednesday, June 18, in a local hospital.
