Sam Rayburn Fishing Report
      Sam Rayburn is at 158.42 feet and starting to hold its own, the water temperature has been around 76 degrees. The water is clear to around two feet. The water level has started to settle down some and the fishing has started to pick up. We have been catching fish from around the grass lines to as deep as 25 feet off deep structure.

Cross Country competes in Palestine and Woden
      Diboll cross country runners have been working hard this season and that work has yielded some strong showings the last couple of weeks. Competing in Palestine and Woden the last two Saturdays, Diboll has really shown that they have what it takes to compete in the 3A ranks of cross country and they seem to be improving on that each week.

Jacks pull out stunning comeback
      Unbelievable just barely begins to describe the excitement in Lumberjack Stadium Friday night as the Jacks came from behind in truly dramatic fashion to beat the Newton Eagles 39-35. The Jacks remained poised even after an early touchdown by the Eagles that saw the team in purple travel 70 yards on a single play.
