Hazel Annette Wright Services for Hazel Annette (Arnold) Yarsley Wright, 74, of Lufkin were held Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Interment followed in the Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan. She was born Sept. 26, 1934, in Pineland, and raised in Diboll. She was the daughter of the late Hazel (Jones) and Maxie Arnold. She died Monday, Oct. 20, in a local nursing facility. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved music, and had a variety of interests. She retired from Mass Mutual in 1982, following more than 18 years of service as a claims adjuster. She was a member of Keltys First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Wright of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Fran Yarsley of Palm Coast, Fla.; daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Gerry Talbot of Marshall and Dorothy and Reggie Wellman of Springfield, Mass.; stepdaughter, Laurie Ann Mellen of Houston; stepson and wife, Rick and Debbie Wright of Houston: 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Yarsley, in August 1992; her parents; and six brothers and sisters. Pallbearers were Joseph Talbot, Joshua Talbot, Jared Mellen, Brent Mellen, Gerry Talbot and Jake Wright. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Keltys First Baptist Church Building Fund, 2402 N.
