Diboll Junior High students collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House
The Diboll Jr. High Science Classes are saving the pull tabs from aluminum cans and donating them to the Ronald McDonald House in Houston.
The Ronald McDonald House recycles them and uses the money to help provide a home away from home for families with sick children. Please help our students participate in this valuable community service and live a little greener in the process. It is a great opportunity to help others and the environment at the same time! We will be collecting the pull tabs all year. A collection jug is located in each Science room.
Feel free to bring them by any of the four classrooms at your convenience. There is a competition between grade levels - the grade level that collects the most mass of pull tabs each six weeks will be awarded an in-class snack party. For more information on the Pull Tab program, visit:
