Weekly Migratory Bird Hunting Report
      High Plains Mallard Management Unit: The front brought new birds to the region but mild temperatures quickly returned. Outfitters have said temperatures in the 70s have not prompted geese to feed heavily, which has hurt decoying action. Many outfi tters have said there are plenty of Canadas and snows to hunt; but, weather has been the ingredient to harvest them.

Sam Rayburn Fishing Report
      Water Temp. 60 Water Clarity 2-3 feet 11/23/08 Sam Rayburn is at 156.97 ft and has fallen just a little. The water temperature has been around 58 degrees in the morning and warming up to around 63 by the afternoon. The water has been clear for the most part.

      Opting to delay the start of the hoops season in order to avoid any possible confl icts with the football postseason has put the Lumberjacks a bit behind, so the last week has been jam packed with a great deal of catching up.
