T.L.L. TEMPLE MEMORIAL LIBRARY Happy New Year to everyone! We would like to thank you for your patronage in 2007 and look forward to another great year of serving you. So many people blessed us with special treats throughout the holiday and we would like to say a special thank you to: Goodwin-Lasiter, Inc and Chad Morgan Insurance for the great chocolate chip cookies; Carolyn Williams for the fantastic pumpkin bread; Patsy Kissee for the scrumptious brownies; Janet Terillo for the taste tingling blue berry cheese cake and other goodies; Gerri Paul for the lovely handmade reindeer pins; Debbie and Dewayne Durham for the beautiful candles and candle holders; and Lisa Byrd for the heavenly scented lotions. May God bless you all throughout the year. Calling all people with overdue books! Just as everyone is getting organized and clearing his or her books, the library needs to be able to do that, too. We need your help. To clear our books, we need all the overdue materials returned to the library. Fines do not have to be paid at the time the materials are returned, only before you can check out anything else. If you are embarrassed about having the materials out so long, just slip them in our outdoor book drop under the cover of darkness, and no one will be the wiser. However you decide to return our materials, we do thank you for your prompt action. I know! I know! Parking at the T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library is not good right now even if it is for the greater good. We are so sorry that so many of you are having trouble finding a way to park when you visit our library, but please don't let that keep you from coming. The staff is parking in the north parking lot to make room for our patrons in the south parking lot that can only be accessed from Hwy 59. It may appear that we are closed, but be assured that we are still open for your convenience. If you have any questions about where to park or have trouble getting in and out of the library just give us a call at 829-5497 and we will see what we can do to help. The wait will be worth it all when the new parking is completed.
