Party candidates file

Just as things were getting hotter than a raging wildfire in the Iowa Caucus last week, local political winds were just beginning to blow, as the filing deadline for the 2008 election cycle came to a close.

This year's political season will see numerous spots up for grabs, with several races in the Angelina Democratic Primary highlighting the Marh 4, 2008 Primary Election. The Angelian County Republicans will have several names on that ballot, but none of them has drawn any primary opposition.

Candidates that have filed to run in both the Angelina County Democrat and Republican Primaries are:
