Mrs. Matthew (Brittany Ann) Adams

Brittany Ann Brookshire of Lufkin and Matthew Robert Adams of Luficin were married on Saturday, Dec. 29, at First United Methodist Church. Officiating ministers were the Rev. Michael Tyson, Dr. Keith Whitaker and Rev. Clayton Walker of First United Methodist Church. The bride is the daughter of Brent and Laura Brookshire of Lufkin and the groom is the son of Robert and Kathe Adams of Lufkin. Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Dorothy Brookshire and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gagliardi and grandmother of the groom is Mrs. Adelaide Heywood. Attending the bride was matron of honor Dustee Knapp, sister of the groom, of Luficin. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Conner and Claire Crisp, lifelong friends; Kathryn Peterson, cousin; Abby Reeves and Chelsea Reeves, lifelong friends; and Melanie Stewart, sister of the groom.

Best man was Jared illanne, lifelong friend, of Kingwood. Groomsmen were Brent Brookshire Jr., brother of the bride; Drew Brown and David Cook, lifelong friends; Brian Knapp, brother-in-law; and Heath Whitaker, lifelong friend. The flower girl was Kassidy Knapp. Honor attendants and cousins of the bride included Franicie Clock, Madelyn Clock and Taylor Jeske. Niece of the groom is Meredith Stewart. Ushers and cousins of the bride included Mike Day, Johrmy Day, Tommy Day, Jimmy Day, Bowman Root, Charlie Root, Tyler Root and Jon Peterson. After the ceremony, a reception was held at Crown Colony Country Club. Following a honeymoon to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Arlington.

The bride attends Texas Christian University, The groom is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor's of science degree in accounting and a masters degree in management information systems. He is employed with Deloitte and Touche in Dallas.
