Mary L. Garcia

Graveside services for Mary L. Garcia, 78, of Lufkin, were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2008, in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Reverend Charles Williams officiating.

Mrs. Garcia was born March 6, 1 929, in Jefferson County, Texas, and she died Thursday, January 24, 2008, in a Lufkin hospital.

Mrs. Garcia was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She had lived in Lufkin most of her life.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse R., Jr., and Elizabeth Garcia of Lufkin; sons, Ray Garcia and Jordan Garcia, both of Lufkin; daughter, Linda Garcia of Lufkin; daughters and sons-inlaw, Vicki and Charles Putnam, Lisa and Thed Mosley, all of Lufkin; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a number of brothers and sisters; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse R. Garcia, Sr., in 1988.
