T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library

Attention Parents and Grandparents: Our story time for ages 3-5 has started up again after the holidays. Tot-time is a story time where children can listen to a story and then do some kind of craft to take home. This program is held every Wednesday from 11:00-11:30 in the children's area of the library. Please let us know that you are coming so that we will have enough crafts prepared for your child. For more information call us at 936-829-5497.

As those W2's are rolling in you may be thinking about where to get extra income tax forms. The library has most of what you need and what we don't have we can get from the IRS website at $.20 cents per page. Tax forms are located in the foyer of the building on the south end. Come by and get what you need while supplies last.

If you are like me and have trouble filling out those complicated income tax forms, help is available. Mr. Charles Walls has graciously donated his time to the library to help you with your income tax forms. Mr. Walls is available by appointment only. For more information on how to set up an appointment for this free tax help, call the library at 829-5497.

We care about our soldiers in Iraq and that is why we will continue to collect care package items to send to them each month. You can be a part of this effort by donating items to send each month. All you have to do is drop your donations in the box we have provided in the foyer of the library. If you need ideas on what to bring just call or come by the library for a list. Everything that is collected will be given to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 13 to be distributed to the soldiers that are from the Angelina County area. Won't you be a part of something good?

An advertising company has provided the library with a map that has Diboll on one side and Angelina County on the other side. It's a great little map for garage sellers and for new comers. These maps located at the front desk of the library are free to the public. Trust me, you will want one.

Because of our technology status the library is qualified to receive a special offer from the publishers of InformationWeek. Starting soon we will receive 1 year of Information- Week, compliments of the publisher. InformationWeek is a weekly magazine that combines the goals of business with technology to help in making strategic decisions that will affect a company's bottom line. Every week this magazine delivers in-depth, mission critical editorials that reinforce the strategic side of technology and the technical aspects of smart business (www.informationweeksubscription. com). All magazines are available for a two-day checkout at our circulation desk.
