Ladyjack soccer win

In what has been a tough and hard fought inaugural season for the Diboll Lady Jack Soccer program came another physical match-up Friday night.

He ladies from Diboll have played some tough soccer this season and gave it their all against a very experienced Livingston Lady Lions squad. During the first half of play the Lady Jacks kept it close and only trailed the Lady Lions by a single goal.

That unfortunately was as close as the contest would and Livingston would go on to take the contest by a score of 4 - 0.

The Lady Jacks had numerous attacks on the offensive e ball, and just came up short .

Diboll got a huge effort out of Rosita Silva, who had 10 saves in a great performance.

The Junior Varsity squad was also in competition against Livingston. The contest ended with Diboll playing the Lady Lions to Ruth Lopez and Gabby Saucedo both scored goals for the lady jacks.

Iris Lopez also had 2 shots on goal.

Defenders Cristyna Gaitan and Calli Shivers made many good plays to keep the pressure on Livingston.

The Varsity Lady Jacks lost 4- 0. We were down 1-0 at the half. The lady jacks mad many offensive attacks but could not produce any goals. Rosita Silva had 10 saves in a great performance.

Come watch as the JV and Varsity travel to Hudson Tuesday night. JV is at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity is at 7 p.m.
