Diboll 4-H, FFA present projects at Youth Fair

Diboll 4-H and FFA club members are playing a prominent role at the Angelina County Youth Fair running this week at the George H. Henderson Exposition Center in Lufkin.

Diboll's 4-H is one of eight clubs in the county and is one of the more active, said Ryan Merril, the new 4-H-Youth Development agent with the Angelina County Extension Service. Merril, who hails from Nacogdoches, has been on the job since January.

The fair also will feature participants from Future Farmers of America and Family Careers and Community Leaders of America clubs and other school-age children throughout the county.
