Earnestine Finley Poole

Funeral services for Earnestine Finley Poole, 70, of Lufkin were held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway- Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Aaron Finley officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Poole wars born August 28, 1937 in Grapeland, Texas to the late Shirley (Reed) arid Peyton Finley, and died Sunday, February 10, 2008 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Poole had resided in Lufkin for the past five years, after living in Diboll for most of her life. She worked for Pilgrim's Pride for 30 years, and was a member of the St. Thomas Church of God in Christ in Diboll. Mrs. Poole loved to fish and then eat what she caught. She was always happy, and enjoyed spendhig time with family and friends.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Jeanette Poole of Lufkin; son, John Poole, Jr. of Diboll; daughter, Everline Poole of Lufkin; granddaughters, Brandy Poole, Katrina Poole and Lakendra Pool, all of Lufkin; grandson, Kenneth Poole, Jr. of Lufkin; five greatgrandchildren; brothers, John Wesley Finley of Diboll and Willie B. Finley of Lufkin; sisterin law, Izora Finley of Diboll; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Poole.

Pallbearers were Parnell Johnson, Jerome Barnes, John Finley, Ray D. Finley, Sr., Ray D. Finley, Jr., John W. Finley and Willie B. Finley.
