Ambrose graduates basic

AMBROSE

Air Force Airman Dustin F. Ambrose has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies, performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.

In addition, airmen who complete basic training can earn credits toward an associate degree through the Communiy College of the Air Force. Ambrose is a 2007 graduate of Winona High School and presently attending Tech school to learn more about computers.

He is the son of Cindy Ambrose of Tyler. He is the grandson of Gerald and Patsy Grimes of Doucette and Billie Ambrose of Winona and the late Johnny L.Ambrose of Village Mills. He is the nephew of Greg Grimes of Lufkin.
