Elvis highlight of Pink Pearl PJ Party Friday
Elvis definitely will be in the building at the Pink Pearl PJ Party, a first-ever ladies' night out, from 7-11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, at the Lufkin Civic Center. The event is sponsored by the Pink Pearls E-Racers Relay for Life team. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society in its fight against breast cancer. Participants are asked to wear pajamas, "dressed up" with something fun - a tiara or boa, for example - and take a friend or two with them. The event also will feature breast cancer bingo, food and drinks. Tickets are $25 each. Tables for eight are available with eight-ticket purchases.
