Berneice "Nanny" Jones

Funeral services for Berneice "Nanny" Jones, 79, of Zavalla were held Monday, February 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Zavalla United Pentecostal Church with Brother Bud Hopkins and Brother Gary Modisett officiating. Interment followed in the Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born November 30, 1928 in Zavalla, Texas to the late Velaria (Gipson) and William Henry Parker, and died Friday, February 22, 2008 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Jones was a lifetime resident of Zavalla. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Zavalla United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Jones was a beloved grandmother to her grandchildren arid great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Brady Molee, Jr. and Ruby Jones of Zavalla and Bobby and Valarie Sisk of Warren; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Nell and Larry Sutton of Zavalla; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Ermma Parker of Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Molee Jones, Sr.; and son, William H. Jones.

Pallbearers wiere Brady Jones, Jr., Leonard Stout,

Thomas Bailey, Mark Bailey, Bobby Sisk, Jacob Bailey and Mason Bailey.

Honorary pallbearers

were Mrs. Jones' nieces and nephews.
