Anna Faye Barbe

Funeral services for Anna Faye Barbe, 63, of Hudson were held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10:00 am. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Forrest and Reverend Blake Powers officiating. Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Barbe was born March 3, 1945 in Key West, Florida to the late Ida (Edge) and Roland Minshew, and died Thursday, March 13, 2008 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Barbe had resided in the Hudson Community for the past 35 years. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Barbe loved being with her family and friends, and enjoyed antique shopping, oil painting and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Barbe of Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Analisha and Brian (Mo) Oliver of Hudson; son and daughter in-law, Scott and Gina Barbe of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Marifrances and Edward Bailey of Hudson; grandchildren, J. J. Harris, Wade Barbe, Jessica Harris, Cody Bailey, Hunter Barbe, Cody Oliver, Tyler Polk, Dillon Polk, Karissa Oliver and Dakota Bailey; greatgrandson, Ryer• Barbe; brother, Tommy Minshew of Lufkin; brother and sister in-law, Lloyd and Kathy Minshew of Lufkin; sister, Elizabeth Hodges of Lufkin; sister and brotherin law, Catherine and Robert Norwood of Boaz, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Robert Bathe, Scott Barbe, Mo Oliver, Edward Bailey, Robert Norwood and David Hodges.

Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Barbe's grandsons and her brothers, Tommy Miinshew and Lloyd Minshew.
