Gordon "PeeWee" Crawford

Funeral services for Gordon "PeeWee" Crawford, 89, of Hudson were held Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Frank Thompson and Brother Billy Knight officiating. Interment followed in the Narrow Way Cemetery with Brother Thomas Wind ham officiating.

Mr. Crawford was born May 24, 1918 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Margaret (Stephens) and Dee Crawford, and died Sunday, March 9, 2008 in a local hospital.

Mr Crawford was a lifetime resident of Hudson. He served with the U.S. Army and was selfemployed as a carpenter. Mr. Crawford was a member of the Groveton Eastern Star #284 A.F. & A.M. and the Wallace Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-inIaw, Linda and Gene Nelson and Peggy and David Walker, all of Hudson; grandchildren and spouses, Gina Holder, Angela and David Gibson, Salina and Kenny Kimball, Clint Walker and Mindy Lynn Walker; great-grandchildren, Chelsey Gibson, Brett Gibson and Angelica Kimball; brother and sister in-law, Leon and Barbara Crawford of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Crawford.

Pallbearers were Leon Sanches, Pat Tomez, Billy Stanford, David Gibson, Clint Walker and Marshall Crawford.

Honorary pallbearers were Thomas Johnson, Henry Lovelady, Leslie Lovelady and Billy Pillows.
