Alejandro "Alex" Garcia

Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church for Alejandro "Alex" Garcia, with Reverend Paul G. Rainville, M.S. officiating. Interment followed in the Forest Haven Cemetery.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening in the Oakley- Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel.

Alex, 29, of Lufkin, was born August 31, 1978 in Mexico City, Mexico, and he passed away Thursday, March 1 3, 2008. Alex was employed with Citation Corp.

Survivors include his father and mother, Joaquin and Maria Garcia of Lufkin; sons, Alejandro Garcia, Jr. and Victor Garcia, both of Lufkin; daughter, Bianca Garcia of Lufkin; wife, Marlene Padilla of Diboll; brother and sister-in-law, Cesar and Marisol Garcia of Lufkin; and brothers, Miguel. Garcia, Eduardo Garcia and Joaquin Garcia, Jr., all of Lufkin. Pallbearers will be Joaquin Garcia, Hector Garcia, Cesar Garcia, Carlos Segura, Miguel Garcia and Eduardo Garcia.
