A Hudson volunteer firefighter hoses down the last of the flames from a shop fire last Wednesday. No people were injured in the fire at a residence on Farm Road 2497, one mile off Texas 94. An explosion came from the shop soon after the fire was discovered. The quick response of the Hudson Volunteer Fire Department saved the residence from being damaged along with the shop. The shop appeared to be a total loss. The family dog was possibly in the shop at the time of the fire. It was not known if it survived.
