Letter to the editor: thanks for Tamale Festival memories

Dear Editor:

We wanted to express our appreciation, firstly, to Lance Moore and all the great folks affiliated with the civic center, for inviting us to come perform during the (Tamale) festival, putting us up for the weekend, and extending a heart-felt welcome to us. Secondly, a big thanks to all the fine folks who stopped for a while as they strolled by the trailer/bandstand and listened to what we were doing. Thirdly, we want to say thanks to the other entertainers, Chris Edwards and David Kelly, who were willing to join us in our attempts to entertain the festival-goers.

It was a really great weekend, and we met a lot of nice people. We have already made arrangements to perform at the next one!
