Angelina Dems meet Saturday

The Angelina County Democratic convention will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Hudson ISD auditorium, 6735 Ted Trout Drive, Lufkin.

A large turnout in the March 4 precinct caucuses caused county party leaders to realize that the reserved space, a district courtroom in the County Courthouse, would not be big enough to handle all the delegates elected.

After an extensive search, the Hudson district facility was secured. People elected as delegates to the county convention at the precinct caucuses should attend the county convention. Delegates to the state Democratic convention will be elected here.
