David Ray Toney David was employed withLufkin Industries as an electrical technician for 10 years. He was an avid hunter and loved his family. David was a member of Caney Creek Baptist Church in Chester. Survivors include his wife, Pam Toney of Diboll; son, Jonathan Toney and fiancée, Halley, of Diboll; son, Christopher Toney of Diboll; daughter, Jessica Toney of Diboll; grandson, Ryan Toney of Diboll; parents, Leroy and Emma Toney of Chester; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jessie and Judy Hale of Diboll; brother, Curtis Toney of Chester; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Barbara Toney of Chester; sister and brother-in-law, Mike and Ruth Longstreth of Blanchard, Oklahoma; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Kim Hale of Diboll; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members; and a host of friends. Honorary pallbearers were Jackie Lewis, Joe Blackburn, Mark Willis, Dale Frels, Gene McGallion, and his other co-workers and friends at Lufkin Industries. Graveside services for David were held at 1 1:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008, in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Vic Bass officiating. |
