      I was visiting with Lucy Burris who is the Sergeant at Arms and Troop Support Chair for the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 113. They are busy putting together boxes each month to send to our service persons in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have about 75 on the list that they mail each month.

      Diboll Garden Club members toured Nacogdoches Azalea Trail last week. The flowers, trees and plants along the trail were identified by the club's guide, Dawn Stover The group enjoyed lunch at Shelley's Bakery Café in downtown Nacogdoches.

DHS One-Act Play cast and crew compete, give great show
      The DHS One-Act Play Cast & Crew competed against seven other schools in the district on Saturday, March 29. Although only Hudson and Center advanced, Diboll put on a fabulous show! Rachel Oates won an All-Star Cast Award for her character, Everywoman.
