Veterans Forum slated with Texas rep. Louie Gohmert

US Rep. Louie Gohmert of Tyler will host a veterans forum in Lufkin to give veterans an opportunity to learn more about services available to them and have their concerns addressed. The congressman has invited local and regional veterans services representatives as well as local officials to address the concerns of the veteran community, garner feedback, and consider solutions for improved service.

The forum is scheduled from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, April 7, at the Lufkin Civic Center, 601 N. Second St.

During the meeting, a veterans services counselor will be available on site to privately discuss veterans' personal situations. In the general forum, questions discussed should pertain to broad or administrative concerns for the benefit of all of the veterans attending.
