School art show planned
Goods for sale at First Street Art Center

First Street Arts Center will host a student show from April 29-May 17. Middle school, high school and college students located within a 100 mile radius were invited to participate in the Exhibition. All artwork will be for sale.

Thereception is open to the public free of charge and will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday April 26. Refreshments and live music will be provided.

Local artists, writers, and musicians interested in presenting their work at the Center should call (936)639-3250. The center currently promotes professional and nonprofessional artists living with in a 100-mile radius of Lufkin. Drop off up to three pieces of student work Friday April 18. No submission required. No framing required.
