The Priscilla Circle is a group of women who serve our church. We are an outreach of UMW. Where UMW serves the larger focus of worldwide missions our mission field is our local church and community. We take the name, "Priscilla", after one of the early leaders of the Christian church. Priscilla and her husband, Aquila, were tentmakers and teachers. Paul stayed with them in Corinth. She taught Apollos and became a great leader both at Corinth and Ephesus and later at Rome. In the latter two places she had a church in her home.

The purpose of our group is to support our church and our community in reaching others for Christ, whether it's serving food at a funeral or helping a family in need. One of our ongoing programs is feeding the children who meet at our church on Wednesday nights, the KIC (Kids in Christ) and Xtreme Teens. Our largest-fundriserfor the year is the Gifts 'n Gumbo, held the first Saturday in December. We sell out of all our homemade gumbo earlier every year, despite the fact that we make more each year.

Youth News: Our KIC (Kids In Christ) youth K,..5U1 and Xtreme Teens 6th - 12 are in full swing for spring. We met every Wednesday night from 5:45 7:00, starting with a lite mealy devotional, games, crafts, and other activities. We were fortunate to have Brother Adrian Neal from Oakflat Baptist to come in February and share his stories and slides from his trip to Israel last year, the kids and teens, KIC youth share in community service by hosting a Blood drive twice a year and always

sending cards and notes to our shut-in's and congregations members. We also host a one mile fun run in the fall for K-5th.

This past fall Xtreme Teens attended the Casting Crowns concert in Tyler at the Oil Center, a convoy of 3 vans holding 20 youth and excited chaperone had the most wonderful time, the teens will always try to make a concert when it is in the area
