Jackson and Tappin make impressive showing

Earlier this week two Diboll Lady Jack athletes received an opportunity to show off their skills on the volleyball court, with a shot to continue their game at the collegiate level.

For JaFrina Jackson and PaShun Tappin it was a chance of a lifetime and the two ladies obviously did what it took to impress the coach of the Wylie College Volleyball squad.

"After an intensive workout with drills and skills evaluation, the coach offered both young ladies a spot on the Lady Wildcat Volleyball Team at Wylie College," Coach Pam Bass said.

The two young ladies will head to Marshall, TX and join the Lady Wildcats in Volleyball, and the Diboll pair are sure to make an impact.

As a part of the Red River Conference, Wiley competes in NAIA.

"Both JaFrina and PaShun were excited about their opportunity to not only continue playing volleyball, but to also further their education," Bass concluded.
