      Carl Burchfield reported that his wife Betty was scheduled to return to a Houston hospital and after ten months she hopes they will be able to help her stand on both feet. Betty has been through a lot of pain and suffering since their car accident almost a year ago.

Bus barn vandals five and nine are too young for charges
      An investigation into school bus vandalism at the Diboll school district bus barn turned up two perpetrators: boys 9 and 5 years old, said Diboll Investigator Brandon Lovell. Seven buses, a box truck, box trailer, two pickup trucks and a passenger car were sprayed with fire extinguishers.
