Gloria Torres Estrada

Services for Gloria Torres Estrada, 70, of Diboll, were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Baldemar Caftan officiating. Interment followed in the Forest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Estrada was born November 5, 1 937, in Piedras Negra, Coahuila, Mexico, and she died Friday, April 25, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Estrada was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Diboll.

Survivors include her husband, Guadalupe Estrada of Diboll; son, Guadalupe Alonso Estrada Diboll; daughter, Gloria Patricia Estrada of Diboll; brothers and sisters-in-law, Guadalupe and Rebecca Torres of Piedra Negras Coahuila, Mexico and Rolando and Sandra Torres of Corrigan; sister, Olga Torres of Monclova Coahuila, Mexico; sister and brother-in-law, Maria Elena and Mario Musguis of Eagle Pass; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers were Alonso Estrada, Alex Torres, Alejandro Torres, Rolando Torres, Gerardo Torres and Mario Esquivel.
