Richard Michael "Mike" Tolly Funeral services for Richard Michael "Mike" Tolly, 35, of Lufkin were held Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway- Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Frankens, Reverend E. K. Quarles and Reverend Bobby Frankens officiating. Interment followed in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery. Mike was born August 21, 1972 in Woodville, Texas to Olivia (Cox) and Richard Eugene Tolly, and died Saturday, April 26, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A former resident of Diboll, Mike had resided in Lufkin for one year. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm, and had been a maintenance supervisor at the Camden Plantof Georgia Pacific for 13 years. Mike had a great love for music and playing guitar, and had played all his life. He was in different. groups with his friends, and currently played in the band "South 40". Mike was a member of the Homer United Pentecostal Church,. Survivors include his daughters, Nikki Tolly and Mikayla Tolly, both of Diboll; mother and stepfather, Olivia and Jim Wilson of Diboll; father and stepmother, Richard and Faith Tolly of Frankston; stepmother, Linda Tolly of Diboll; extended family who he dearly loved, Dianne Frankens, Reverend Ronnie and Linda Frankens, Ronnie, Jr. and April Frankens, David and Rachelle Frankens, Brandy and Gentry Wilkerson, Brian and Amber Frankens, and numerous relatives of the Frankens family; sister, Michelle Wilson and her friend Greg Pullen, both of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Sherrie Tolly of Piano; sisters, Coleen Wilson of Houston and Missy Wilson of Lake Jackson; nieces, Amber Tolly and April Tolly, both of Lufkin; great-niece, Micha Hector of Lufkin; grandmother, Sidney Cox of Livingston; special friends, Jerry Wells and Chris Page; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert Cox and Jesse and Ethel Tolly; and nephew, Curtis Wilson. Pallbearers were Kevin Tolly, Jim Wilson, Ronnie Frankens, Jr., Brian Frankens, David Frankens, Greg Pullen, Jerry Wells and Chris Page. Honorary pallbearers were the Maintenance Department of Georgia Pacific in Camden and his beloved "South 40" band members. |
