Diboll golfers compete at regionals

      For the Diboll Golf team it was an important week in Huntsville, TX last week as the boys squad headed for the Class 3A Region III Golf Tournament. The team made up of Wesley McClain, Steve Brown, Brett Nash, Steven Hopkins and Eddie Esteves hit the links for two exciting rounds of competition.

Finley set to do Lambeau Leap

      From the Deep East Texas piney woods to the frozen tundra of Green Bay, Wisconsin is where Diboll's own Jermichael Finley will call home from now on. With the 91st selection overall the NFL's Green Bay Packers chose Finley to join the ranks of their famed franchise.

     On Saturday, April 19th the Diboll High School Special Olympic Team competed at the Abe Martin Stadium for the annual Spring Games event. The Athletes competed in the 50 M dash and shot put. Those competing were Amanda Esparza, Jasmine Phipps, and Andy Villanueva.

      The Diboll High School Track and Field teams completed their seasons this past weekend at the Class 3A Region III Track Meet in Humble, TX. For the Diboll bunch it was a tough, but rewarding weekend that will certainly come in useful for those athletes returning next year.
