Mock wreck aims to end drunk driving
Diboll-area law enforcement and emergency response agencies ( above) created a very realistic auto-collision scene during the Shattered Dreams demonstration Monday at Diboll High School, top photo. At left, the "drunk driver" is given a field sobriety test. Lower photo, students were tapped by the Grim Reaper every 15 minutes, to represent how often someone in Texas is killed or injured by drunken drivers. The students' faces were painted white and they had to remain silent the rest of the day.
