Members sought for local school health advisory council service

Diboll ISD invites parents and community members to be a part of the School Health Advisory Council. The purpose of the council is to bring together individuals and groups from Diboll to address issues affecting the health and well-being of children and youth in our schools.

Today's problems call for new ways of doing business. This council provides a way for parents, community leaders, students, health service providers, government officials, school staff, and other local citizens to work together to improve the health and well-being of the children and youth of Diboll.

Diboll ISD has high expectations for the cCouncil. The School Health Advisory Council will help identify local concerns, establish priorities, make recommendations, and provide the strong leadership we need to promote health in our schools and community. Any community member or parent interested in becoming a council member, or those just wanting to learn more about the work of this council, are invited to attend a meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 15at the Diboll ISD School Administration Building.
