FCCLA hosts Blood Drive

Diboll FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) will be hosting a blood chive with the East Texas Blood Center on Friday, May 9, 2008. The blood drive will take place all day long at Diboll High School, from 7:30 am- 2:30pm. The blood drive will be in Ms. Parten's sewing lab room C6. To be able to donate blood you must be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. Anyone from the public can give blood. Also you must bring a picture I.D. with you. You must eat a hearty healthy meal and drink plenty of water before giving blood. If you have a tattoo or piercing you must have had it for at least a week in order to be able to give blood. One donation saves three lives. This year our blood drive will be a carnival theme, ad it will be loads of fun. Our blood drive workers are Kimberly Lowther, Mandi Lovett, Tremecia Hadnot, Datha Mc- Call, Tyra Stewart, and Victor Compean. We would really appreciate it if you would come and support us.
