Mary Harrison

Mary Harrison, 72, of Diboll, was born April 17, 1 936, in Grandview, Texas, the daughter of the late Fermina and Antonio Ramos. She passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker, and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family and cooking for them. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

Survivors include her sons, Roberto Harrison of Mesquite, Ron Harrsion of Lufkin, Lee Harrison of Ft. Worth and Eric Harrison of Diboll; daughters, Rebecca Castillo of Ft. Worth, Betty Alvarez and Brenda Segura, both of Lufkin; 14 grandchildren; 1 S great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Ramos of Ft. Worth; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harrison.

Pallbearers were Diego Harrison, Jaron Harrison, Jose Luis Hernandez, Adrian Segura, Tony Segura,Jarrett Harrison and Steven Smith

Services for Mrs. Harrison were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Joel Rodriguez officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
