Robbie Nash Stringer

Graveside services for Robbie Nash Stringer, 89, of Lufkin, were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, in the Old Union Cemetery, with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating.

Mrs. Stringer was born August 30, 191 8, in Trinity County, Texas. She passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in a local nursing facility. Mrs. Stringer was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Stringer of Etoile; son, Bobby Stringer of Etoile; son and daughterin law, Carl and JoAn Stringer of Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Guy (Sambo) and Margie Nash of Lufkin; sisters, Maxine Stringer and Vivian Johns, both of Lufkin; and a number of other family members.

Mrs. Stringer was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Stringer; son, Jimmy Stringer; and parents, Guide and Missouri Nash.
