Diboll sports physicals

Family and friends wait outside of the dugout in Corsicana to celebrate the hardwork of their Diboll Lumberjacks this season.

It is that time of year again where all Diboll Athletes need to get their check-ups in order to participate next year in any University Interscholastic League athletic events.

They will be performed during the day from 11:00 pm until 5:00 pm for all Diboll athletes, this Friday, May 16 all Diboll at both the high school and junior high.

The UIL makes it mandatory that anyone competing in athletic competition takes and passes their physical in order to be eligible for participation.

All students that are going to be competing next year during the 2008-2009 sport year going into grades seven through twelve will be tested on Friday.

The Regional Physical Therapy Center and Donna Olson, who serves as Diboll's Athletic Trainer, will provide the pre-participation physical examinations on site this year.

The cost of athletic physicals will be $15.00 per student with checks made out to Donna Olson.
